Position: Business Analyst – Full Time

Experience Level: Minimum 5 years in Health Care and/or Banking domains

Location: UK

Salary:  £51,000 to £60,000

We are seeking a skilled Software Business Analyst with a strong background in the Health Care and/or Banking sectors to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients’ business objectives and technological solutions. They will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document business processes, requirements, and workflows within the Health Care and/or Banking domains.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and validate business requirements.
  • Conduct thorough gap analysis to identify areas for process optimization and automation.
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable software requirements, including functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Work closely with software development teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and expectations.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to business stakeholders during software implementation and post-implementation phases.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices within the Health Care and/or Banking domains.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on software development projects within the Health Care and/or Banking sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering software solutions that meet business objectives and requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Health Care and/or Banking industry regulations, standards, and practices.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in eliciting and documenting business requirements using techniques such as user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar software development and collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent.
  • Experience with Health Care and/or Banking software applications, platforms, or systems.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization tools.
